School admissions
Students are admitted to our school through referral from their local authority. Referrals are processed on a rolling basis and that's why we are able to operate flexible entrance dates.
Our school provides educational facilities for students with a diagnosis of autism.
We cater for the needs of students with a wide range of abilities and differences associated with the autism spectrum.
All students must be within the age range of 3 to 19 years.
How can I apply for a place for my child?
If you are interested in a place at Braithwell for your child, you will need:
- A suitable EHCP from your local authority
- A diagnosis of autism
Your local authority would make a referral and this decision will be sent to a referral panel.
If we think we can meet the needs of your child, we will inform your local authority and they will let us know if they wish us to proceed. We would look to come and visit you and your child at home and invite you to visit our school.
Can I come and visit the school?
You are welcome to book a visit and see for yourselves how we value and care for our pupils.
Appointments and further information can be discussed with our friendly team.
